The Bunker

Leura is one of the prettiest towns in the Blue Mountains, and perched on the edge of the Jamieson Valley, you’ll find a cafe with some of the best views around!

Located in a heritage- listed cottage, The Bunker cafe once operated as the Leura Coachhouse, back in 1919, when travellers used to eat and stay. Long gone are the horses and carts, but the warm sense of hospitality, and great food, remains.

The motto at The Bunker is that ‘no-one leaves hungry’ and is reflected in the hearty portions. Signature dishes include their smashed avocado on sourdough, served with beetroot hummus. For lunch, the star dishes are the prawn and chorizo pasta, and a slow-cooked lamb, served with chipotle.

For those after a unique all-year-round, all-weather dining experience, The Bunker also has its very own clear dining dome. Situated in the lovely gardens, the Dome is where you can enjoy high tea, or star gazing, from the privacy of your very own dining dome!
