The Travelling Tavern is a pedal-powered pub on wheels that drives around the streets of the Rocks dropping in at some of the suburb’s finest establishments. Just grab a group of friends – maximum 15 and minimum eight – all who need to be over 18, and join in the fun!
Owner Shauna Doyle was inspired when she saw international versions of taverns on wheels on social media and knew it would work in Sydney. And after a few years of red tape, the show is now on the road.
The Travelling Tavern supplies a driver to safely steer you around, and you receive drink tokens as part of your hire so you can tipple while you pedal.
Stops can include the Harbourview Hotel, the Australian Heritage Hotel and the Glenmore, perfect pit stops to refuel with a great pub feed and a refreshment or two.
