A Weekend in Wollondilly

Mike’s on a day trip to what we’re calling ‘Wonderful Wollondilly Shire’! Just outside the city limits of Sydney – and you’re there. Breathe out the city and take in spectacular natural beauty, rural pastures, quaint country villages and some unique experiences.

A Weekend in Wollondilly

Did you know Warragamba Dam holds four times more water than Sydney Harbour?! Details of Mike's trip here: http://bit.ly/Wollondilly

Mike’s first stop is the Dingo Sanctuary in Bargo where he meets some of the 32 dogs that are part of a breeding program to preserve the bloodlines of pure bred dingoes.

He stops in at the pretty village of Picton for the best Mexican “South of the Border” (Sydney’s border that is!) at Frank and Blanco… and plays a game of Mexican Roulette with Jalapenos.

Then there’s Wollondilly Shire’s BIGGEST attraction – Warragamba Dam. And if you want to turn your day trip into two days… Mike’s found a beaut place to overnight! The Appin Homestay B&B – where Kevin and Sue harvest from their paddock and put it on your plate. It’s perhaps the only B&B EVER to serve Crème Caramel for brekkie!
