Beyond the Blowhole | Kiama

While the blowhole may be Kiama’s biggest drawcard, the town is packed with plenty of incredible places to explore, dine and unwind.

First up, is the Kiama Golf Club a short, yet challenging course set right on the beautiful Minnamurra River. But if you’re not a golfer there’s another reason to visit – the totally renovated Mystics restaurant, which is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

The breakfast menu is superb, try the Loaded Bacon and Egg Roll, the Turkish Eggs served on flatbread or the Chilli Eggs served with a croissant. And if you like it sweet, the pancakes and waffles hit the spot every time.

If you still need a bit of sweetness in your life, hit the legendary Kiama Ice Creamery! With more than 60 flavours to choose from, no trip to Kiama would be complete without an ice cream, sundae or banana split from here.

Then head out to Crooked River Estate, and sample some of their superb cool climate wines, dine in their brand-new restaurant and cellar door. Even better, stay over in one of their newly built two-bedroom villas with plunge pools, or the two-story, two-bedroom super villa The Canopy.

Isn’t it time you spent some time on the Kiama Coast?
