PHIVE is Parrmatta’s new hightech community hub and meeting place, as well as being climate-neutral, and an architectural marvel. Designed by award-winning French and Australian architects, PHIVE boasts a state-of-the-art library, with over sixty-five thousand books, digital resources, and both a First Nations and Children’s Library. For history buffs, there’s also an impressive heritage collection on display too.
There are regular library tours, and great workshops for kids, from biology workshops, featuring bugs and insects, and ones for older kids, with exciting, artist-led workshops. Visitors can also access a whole wealth of technology, with pod-cast and music studios, a green screen, virtual reality headsets, and even 3-D printers!
