Hazelhurst Arts Centre

There are many pleasures in life- nature, art and of course great food! And bringing them ALL together- under one roof- is the Hazelhurst Arts Centre

Located in Gymea, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, Hazelhurst was once a family home, owned by Ben and Hazel Broadhurst. Following the wishes of the Broadhurst’s to create a ‘centre of culture’, the house was bequeathed to the community, and Hazelhurst Arts Centre was born.

The original house, owned by the Broadhurst’s stills stands, as well as a modern art centre, complete with several art galleries, with revolving shows, and studios offering art classes to all ages and abilities.

A recent addition to the centre is the Hazel Kitchen and Bar. A stunning space with indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant features a menu of fresh, seasonal modern Australian cuisine, with an excellent wine list to match.

From the grounds, to the art, to the restaurant, Hazelhurst truly is a centre of excellence!
