This favourite Sydney haunt has had a total makeover by new owners the Feros Group, swapping its nautical theme for a smart new Mediterranean fit out straight out of Mykonos. Culinary director Jamie Gannon has come up with a spectacular menu to match, with a Mediterranean flair leaning towards Greece.
Start with a plate of classic octopus and crispy potatoes, South Australian scallops smothered in butter and Aleppo pepper and a housemade flatbread, perfectly paired with a huge bowl of fresh tzatziki.
For mains you can have an elevated lamb or chicken yeeros experience, a plate of succulent rotisserie pork or just enjoy a tasty pub classic like a schnitty or a burger.
Between the Garden downstairs and the Terrace upstairs Helm Cockle Bay is also the perfect place for a party, whether it’s 600 people or just a couple of tables for lunch.
