How to spend a weekend in Glenworth Valley

Don’t hang around the house on your weekend – hang out at Glenworth Valley!

Jack Yabsley’s “on the ropes” abseiling at Australia’s biggest Outdoor Adventure Centre – Glenworth Valley. An hour North of Sydney, Glenworth is a 3000 acre wilderness property of ancient rainforest, valley pastures, sandstone cliffs – and unforgettable adventure activities from one end to the other!

There’s kayaking, mountain biking, quad biking, horse-riding, laser skirmish and abseiling down golden sandstone cliffs. Absolutely perfect for the family – kids as young as seven can abseil, and if you want to rev things up, twelve year olds can ride the Quad bikes.

There’s a fab new café to grab a gourmet toastie for lunch.  And if you want to turn the whole experience into a weekend sleepover, you can camp too.  But, for a whole new camping experience how about leaving your tent at home and letting Simple Pleasures Camping Company set up the Glamping experience for you – a real mattress, Persian rugs on the floor, everything you need to cook a meal and even toiletries! It’s walk in – walk out camping. Gotta love that! And, as the sun goes down, don’t miss the “Running of the Horses” – as 250 horses gallop to their paddocks after their days work. It’s a wonderful sight.
