Christmas at QVB

Christmas Shopping can be hard, but what if there was a ‘one-stop-shop’ where you could buy exceptional gifts that everyone will love? You’ll find exactly that, at the QVB!

Built in 1898, the Queen Victoria Building, or QVB, is an architectural masterpiece, and there’s no better time to visit than during the most magical time of year!

The QVB is home to some uniquely Australian brands, such as Australia’s ‘queen of hats’, Helen Kaminski, and the premium and ethical chocolate brand, Haighs. There’s also family-owned stores, such as the children’s toy shop, Hobbyco, offering thousands of toys, and specialty shops including the camera store Leica and Pen Ultimate where you’ll find a range of premium pens and writing materials.

If you’re keen for a refuel, just swing into the grand French Brasserie Manon for brunch, for a long lunch or a glass of fine French bubbles! For the ultimate festive foodie experience, you can also enjoy High Tea with Santa, under the chandeliers in the historic QVB Tea Rooms.

When it comes to Christmas decorations, the QVB have gone all-out this year, with the largest indoor Christmas Tree in the country, co-designed by First Nations Artists, and Artscape – an Augmented Reality experience, created by indigenous artist, Dr Bronwyn Bancroft. Christmas is better at the QVB!
