How to Spend a Weekend in Berry

Berry is a delightful village, just a couple of hours south of Sydney, but a world away from the hustle and bustle of the big smoke. The town features many historical buildings, cafes and shops.

Surrounding the towns are many farms too, where a range of local produce is grown. To experience the full range of produce, available in the region, just head to the Berry Farmer’s Market. The market is held every Thursday arvo, and attracts growers and producers from far and wide. If you’re keen to turn your market produce into actual meals, just head straight to the Far Meadow Table. This delightful cooking school is where you can learn to make your own sourdough bread and a delectable array of baked goods, woodfired veggies and more. Once you’ve mastered your recipes, patrons gather around a farm table to taste the fruits of their labour.

For a unique farmstay experience, you’ll find it at Bundara Farm. Located on a stunning property, the farm consists of Waverley Cottage, sleeping 4, and Bellevue Cottage which sleeps 4-5. For larger groups, the Bundara Homestead sleeps up to 20 people. All visitors can enjoy the lush, English country-style gardens and, for groups, the large farm table is a place to gather and enjoy great food, wine and good times!
