Eating Out on Sydney’s Rooftops

During the warmer months in Sydney, there’s nothing better than retreating to a rooftop, to enjoy some drinks and food with good company. And to find the perfect rooftop, we’ve found a couple that we know you will enjoy!

The Bathers Pavilion, in Balmoral, has long been the perfect place to enjoy a brekky, brunch, or lunch. And now this icon has only grown in appeal with the opening of The Louis Terrace. Part of the Betel Leaf @ Bathers restaurant, The Louis Terrace is where you can enjoy a meal of authentic and delicious Thai food, from a menu curated by Head Chef and world-class Thai chef, Ty Bellingham. Choose from a quality cocktail and drinks menu, while you enjoy sweeping views of one of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches.

Bar Ombre is an inner-city rooftop haven, where you can while away an afternoon, and then party long into the night! Chow down with friends on Bar Ombre’s sumptuous sharing platters, featuring delicious imported meats and cheeses, supplied by their sister restaurant downstairs, Salt, Meats, Cheese. There’s also a range of wood-fired pizzas, pastas, and a kid’s menu too. For those who love a spritz, Bar Ombre has a dedicated spritz bar with a wide range of refreshing spritz’s to enjoy. Bar Ombre is also big on entertainment, with live music and DJ’s keeping the party vibe alive on this rooftop!
