The American tribal love-rock musical, based around a group of hippies living in New York’s Central Park, Hair defined a generation and first showed in Sydney in 1969. And now, for a limited season only, it’s playing at the Theatre Royal Sydney.
Giving new life to this universally loved classic is award- winning director, Glenn Elston who has gathered a stellar cast of performers to revive this colourful musical, whose central themes of peace and love remain as relevant today as ever.
