Eating Out AND staying healthy can be tricky, but not when your lunch date is the gorgeous Sarah Di Lorenzo!
Just across the road from Queens Court, is the Woollahra Hotel. This classic, art deco pub has a fabulous wrap-around bar, downstairs, and upstairs, you’ll find some of the best south- eats Asian food in the eastern suburbs. Head chef, Jordan Muhamad has created an authentic, and affordable, menu that includes a range of delectable entrees and curries. Highlight dishes include the Betel Leaf, laden with spanner crab and chilli and nuoc chaum, and the Hiramasa Kingfish Sashimi. If you love a good curry, Jordan’s Thai Green Chicken Curry is a tried and tested staple, while the Fish Curry is beautifully basted in a tantalising broth. Pub dining has never tasted so good!
Australia’s favourite nutritionist, Sarah joins presenter and good friend Sophie to show her around some of her favourite haunts in Woollahra. First stop in Luxe Woollahra, hidden from view down an alley, in the iconic pink Queens Court building. Luxe occupies the inner courtyard, and offers a menu overflowing with colourful goodness. There’s the Seasonal fruit and house-made Maple Cinnamon granola, and the Mediterranean Avo, complete with smashed avo on sourdough, grilled halloumi, rocketm cherry tomatoes, salsa verde and zatar. Luxe also make their own range of baked goods, including organic muffins which are sensational.
