Parramatta Square

Parramatta Square is Sydney’s biggest urban renewal project, spanning an astonishing three hectares, and costing over three billion dollars!

Great restaurants are part of the Parramatta Square vision, and one of the stars of this new development is CicciaBella Trattoria and Bar. One of the latest offerings from acclaimed restaurateur Maurioce Terzine- of Bondi Icebergs fame- CicciaBella is a homage to Italy’s famed trattorias where simple, honest yet delicious food is served in a casual setting. Stand-out dishes include the burrata with basil oil and crispy capers, the bucatini cacio e pepe and the pork cotoletta with parmigiana crumb, prosciutto and sage. And with one of Sydney’s best tiramisu, make sure you leave room for dessert!

Just next door to CicciaBella is another exciting restaurant offering in Parramatta’s new food district- LilyMu. Here you’ll find a unique modern mash-up of Chinese and South- east Asian flavours in a neon-lit space where diners can watch the chefs at work in the bustling open kitchen. There are many exciting dishes to sample from the chicken larb sando to the kingfish and coconut ceviche with taro and sea grapes. Other highlights include the ‘Tom yum’ prawn dumpling with soy and lime dressing and the roasted duck with Laos sausage, drizzled with fragrant soy. There is also an exciting cocktail menu here too, including the prettiest drink of all- the Chow Sour!
