Beautiful Brunswick Heads

The smaller and quieter cousin of its popular holiday neighbour Byron Bay (which sits just 15 minutes drive north), Brunswick Heads is the sleepy beach town of yesteryear, a reminder of the easy childhood holidays we grew up with. Best of all, nothing’s changed, the cafés might be little trendier and the accommodation a little more comfortable, but the bones are still the same.

Often referred to as an Institution, Bruns Bakery has held the sacred art of Baking in its bones since the 1950’s. Recently restored and reimagined, Bruns Bakery now holds space for their Bakers & Pastry Chefs to share their trade in the open theatre style kitchen. Here you will see kids and adults alike lined up as they watch all kinds. of baked goods being made right in-front of them!

There are plenty of delicious options to choose from including pastries, cakes, sourdough, over 20 varieties of hot pies, fresh wholesome salads and rolls all made on site daily! All of this paired with a smooth barista made coffee in house!

In true beach holiday style Old Maids burger store is the perfect spot to refuel after a morning in the surf or on the river. In the style of the old corner burger store, Old Maids has a menu that ranges from the classic burgers right through to gluten free and vegan options.

The Brunswick has the history and style of an old school hotel/motel but has been lovingly restored to make it a super comfortable and ultra-trendy place to stay, while still retaining the heritage vibe that has been attracting guests for decades.

Centrally located, guests can park their car and easily explore what Bruns has to offer on foot.

The hotel has SUP’s and Cruiser bikes on hand for guests to enjoy at their leisure and get regular supplies from the trawler to arrange local seafood platters by the pool.
