You might be an expert at four-wheel driving in the bush, but if you want to hit the beach, that’s a whole new ball game. Luckily, ISUZU drivers can book in to an ISUZU I-Venture Club workshop to pick up the skills they need to tackle the sand.
There’s a sit-down part of the workshop where you learn a bit of theory, but the bulk of the learning is in the drivers seat. You’ll learn how the car handles under different tyre pressures and how to drive on wet sand and dry sand.
Once you’re comfortable on the surface, the group heads up to the very soft sand on the top of the Stockton Dunes to play out what to do if you do get stuck. It’s great to know there are strategies you can use to get yourself out of trouble.
With the practicalities over, all that’s left is to do a bit of dune driving. If you like roller coasters, you’re going to love this. You can use your new skills to get some pretty big thrills.
